What is this thing?
DiscoDigest is a powerful Discord bot designed to help server administrators and members organize and share important messages. It allows you to collect specific messages, create digests, and post them in a clean, readable format. Perfect for summarizing discussions, announcements, or key moments in your server!
How does it work?
DiscoDigest works by letting users tag important messages with a specific emoji and the bot will compile those messages into a digest and post it to any channel you desire. The bot provides simple slash commands to configure, manage, and run digests instantly, making it easy to stay organized.
How do I create a new Digest?
Run the command `/config` to get started. You can customize your Digest by selecting the channels you want to include, the time you want to receive it, and the frequency of the Digest.
Does this only work on Discord Servers that I own?
Yes, you can only create a Digest for a Discord Server that you own or are a moderator of with specific permissions. You must have the `Manage Server` permission to use this bot.
Is there a limit to the number of digests I can configure?
You can only have 3 digests configured at a time. If you need more, you can delete an existing Digest and create a new one.
Is there a limit to the number of channels I can include in my Digest?
We strongly reccomend only including the most common channels in your Digest. Including too many channels can make the Digest overwhelming and less useful.
Where does the Digest get posted?
The Digest is posted in the channel you selected when you created it. You can always change the channel by running the `/config` command.
How is the data used that DiscoDigest collects?
We only temporarily store the data we collect to create the Digest. We do not share or sell your data to third parties. We do not store any message data (including content).
